Learn Sea Swimming
Students of S.E.A. —
Weekly Swimming Lessons for Kids in South Goa
Looking for swimming lessons for your child or teenager that fit into an already busy week?
Students of S.E.A. is SAHASEA’s six-month ocean-confidence programme for young people aged 5–18. Created especially for families living in and around Hollant, Dabolim, Vasco and nearby South Goa communities, it offers consistent, personalised learning without adding another demanding activity to the family calendar.
Each student receives one focused 30-minute sea-swimming lesson every week. As Goa moves into the cooler months, this is an ideal session length—enough time to practice meaningfully while keeping young swimmers comfortable, engaged and eager to return.
Through regular one-to-one guidance, students will gradually develop:
Swimming and water-safety skills
Confidence in and around the sea
Breath, balance and body awareness
Greater independence in the water
Respect for the ocean and its changing conditions
A practical lifelong skill they can carry into every holiday, adventure and stage of life

~Questions we often hear~
-
Every learner progresses differently. Age, previous experiences, confidence, consistency and comfort in the water all influence the learning journey.
We don’t rush learners or promise that everyone will swim independently within a fixed number of sessions. Our focus is on creating safe, steady progress that can be built upon over time.
-
Parents are welcome to watch the guided lesson from nearby.
When sea conditions allow, you’re also warmly invited to enter the water afterwards to play, connect and gently practice the skills introduced during the lesson—turning lesson day into meaningful family sea time.
-
Yes, provided you are comfortable undertaking gentle physical activity and have shared any relevant health or mobility concerns before the lesson.
Sessions can be adapted to your pace, energy and range of movement. Where appropriate, you may be asked to seek medical guidance before participating.
-
Comfortable swimwear (swimsuit or rash guard recommended)
Towel & change of clothes

Please avoid loose clothing for safety reasons
-
That is very common.
If you’re comfortable entering the water but become nervous when you cannot touch the bottom, a private lesson or eight-session journey may be a good place to begin.
If fear causes you to avoid beaches, boats or water altogether—or feels connected to a difficult past experience—our slower, more holistic Water Within experience may be more suitable.
-
Safety always comes first. Lessons may be adapted, paused or rescheduled when sea or weather conditions are unsuitable.
As sea swimming takes place in a natural environment, some flexibility is an important part of the experience.
-
If water feels overwhelming, you avoid beaches or swimming altogether, or you feel you need a slower and more supported approach, Blue Beginnings (Aquaphobia Courses) may be the better fit.
-
Choose the experience that feels closest to what you need and contact us on WhatsApp.
We’ll ask about the learner’s age, current ability, comfort in the sea and preferred dates or weekly slot before recommending the best place to begin.
